Dean comes into NanoLayr to apply his knowledge to helping the NanoLayr deliver in an environment of rapid growth and a multitude of opportunities; his primary goal is to focus the team on the most important of those opportunities and ensure that the team and the NanoLayr technology deliver on their collective promise as an integral and respected part of a successful organisation.
Dean has worked in a diverse range of science and engineering roles over the last 20 years, both within government research and commercial organisations, as a scientist to ahead of the department. He has focused mostly on leading technology development teams in highly regulated markets and has a technical background that includes physics and electronic engineering degrees from Waikato University, and a PhD in chemical engineering from Cambridge specializing in multiphysics modelling and materials testing. These disciplines have much relevance in the NanoLayr arena.
